We deeply regret the passing of OM Ulf, DJ5QY (444) who has become a silent key.
OM Kees, PA7CG (1900) returned on the bands after being inactive for a couple of years.

HSC Contestchampion of the Year 2017 is US-Q-73. He won both the February and
November contest.

We'd like to congratulate OM Ron, DL4ME (1935) for achieving the WHSC Award together with sticker for 80m, 40m
as well as sticker 80m+40m.

The HSC congratulates YL Ursula DK5TS (890) for achieving the WHSC Award no. 400. Well done, Ursula!
For reasons of age the WHSC Award Manager Jo, DJ4EY (1039) has turned over office to Hardy, DL1VDL (776).
The HSC would like to thank Jo for his work during the past years and wishes Hardy all the best as new WHSC Award Manager.
HSC 1945, OM Hans-Jürgen, DJ7TZ has become as silent key on September 6th this year.
Furthermore news:
- HSC 569, PA5V advised us that he's using the second call PA160HZ until November 28th this year.
He also attended the HSC Contest using this call.
- HSC 1331, ex-RK3WW, has been issued the new call RN3W.
- HSC 1211 ex-DJØND noticed us that he is back to Hungary already for years, using the call HA5TI.

LAST MINUTE
Our HSC Contest Manager has progressed with the migration of the contest evaluation system towards a modern
"Contest Evaluator" with and under Tibor, HA1AH. In comes just in-time for the upcoming November Contest.
For this the contest rules have been slightly modified.
Please consider this while submitting your logs: Only in Cabrillo and
through the mentioned website, not by e-mail anymore!

Effective immediately, the regulations no. 9, 10 and 11 of the HSC Contest have been changed!
- We deeply regret the passing of HSC 767 "Jack", Venanzio Mior, I3BLF, at the age of 91, last May 30th, 2017.
- HSC 248, ex-5B4AGM is now back EU1AA

The HSC would like to welcome YL Ewa, SQ6SEC as a new member to the club. Ewa signes HSC 1958. Welcome!
New: The HSC General Assembly 2017 has elected a new HSC secretary:
OM Holger Matthiessen, DK4LX (816) assumes office as HSC secretary from his predecessor Hardy, DL1VDL.
The official duties has been passed to DK4LX at the HAM-RADIO Friedrichshafen.
The HSC would like to thank DL1VDL for the outstandig service to the HSC throughout the past 7 years!

On May 2nd, OM Conny, DL1DA (HSC 36) celebrated his 90th birthday. The HSC congratulates by issuing a
WHSC65 Honory Award to him.
Currently YL Ewa, SQ6SEC is a candidate to become a full member of the HSC.

Here we have the results of the HSC Marathon 2016. The HSC would like to congratulate 9A3SM
(1643), who has won this competition! See the results in detail

Here we have the results of the first HSC Contest from
February 2017:
Winner of the members section is DF4XX (1676). The non-members section has been won
by DLØHAM. The very first of the QRP class is DJ1YFK (1754) and the winner
of the SWL class is US-Q-73, second is SP4-208 (only 2 log submissions).
Congratulation to all winners! Thanks to all for your participation and hopefully cuagn on November, 5th.

HSC Annual Meeting 2017
We would like to invite all members to the Annual HSC Meeting 2017 held during the
CW Meeting at Erbenhausen,
Germany (link only in German language available). The HSC Meeting is on April 23rd, 2017, 9:30 local time.
