	The HSC would like to wish all members and friends a Happy New Year 2021!
	Remember the HSC Marathon! Only a few hours left for this long time run in 2020!

Here we have the latest news of 2020:

OM Robert, HB9BCZ (1180) moved to the USA. He is QRV as KO4JHZ from his new home.
OM Manfred, DM7DX, (1239) sadly has become a silent key. Furthermore OM Karsten, OZ4FF (243) died at the age of 82 a few days ago. Karsten was a member of HSC since 1957 and an active ham operator to the last.
The HSC celebrates in 2021 its 70th Anniversary. Our club station DKØHSC will issue the Special DOK HSC70.
Felix, DL5XL (1572) is on the way to the Antarctica on board a vessel, using the call sign DPØPOL/mm. He plans to be QRV as DP1POL from the Antarctica starting mid/end January 2021. Look for him on 10122 kHz ±QRM.

Neu! Effectiv 2021 the contest time will be preponed one our: 14 to 17 UTC (was 15 to 18 UTC).

Least, but not last we have to inform you that OM Anton, DK5JA (824) sadly became a silent key.

Remember: The next HSC Contest will take place at November 1st, 2020:

Only one contest period from 15 to 18 UTC.
HF power output 100 watts maximum (was 150 watts before) for categories (1) HSC Members and (2) Non-Members.
HF power output 5 watts maximum for category (3) QRP regardless of HSC member or not.

Deadline for log submissions (online only, see contest page) two weeks after contest, therefore November 15th, 2020.

The HSC mournes the passing of OM Jan, OK1AVG, (960) who sadly became a silent key on September 23rd this year.

Currently OM Enrico, IK1WNO, is a candidate for full HSC membership. Objections until November 30th, 2020.

September 21st, 2020
Effective immediately, the monthly HSC bulletin scheduled for October 3rd, 2020 on 7036 kHz is cancelled.

This has become necessary due to the Deutsche Telegrafie Contest (DTC) taking place at the time of the bulletin. Incidentally, AGCW and HSC clubstations are routinely part of the contest and count for bonus points.

Therefore the next bulletin will be broadcast by DK0HSC at the usual time and QRG on November 7th, 2020. Naturally, we hope to meet many HSC members in the DTC contest.

The HSC has some fresh news for you:

We would like to welcome two new members: HSC 1983, OM Mike, G4RMV and HSC 1984, OM Valter, IK1QAD. Welcome!
Callsign change: HSC 1707, OM Christian, ex-DL1OD, is now DM7EE. He holds AI3KK as well.
The Membership List is available as a PDF file too, and also as a double sided A4-to-A5 PDF file (booklet) if you like to print it yourself.

Currently four OPs are candidate for full HSC membership: DJ8GE, GW4OKT and since today IK5VLL.

To whom it may concern: We'd like to point out that participants in the HSC Marathon 2020 program can compute their current online score at any time at Fabian's, DJ1YFK, website. All it takes is uploading your log file in ADIF-format.

It is important to note that inclusion in the Marathon adjudicaiton process ONLY occurs if you scroll down to the very bottom of the page and hit the "send" button. If you want your call sign to appear in the online ranking list also, you would have to additionally enter your call sign in the box to the left of the "send" button.

The HSC Marathon program is open to all hamradio operators, HSC members and non-members alike.

HAM RADIO 2020 cancelled: Due to current developments in regard to the spread of COVID-19, Messe Friedrichshafen has cancelled the international amateur radio exhibition HAM RADIO.

We deeply regret the passing of OM Rod, YT1E (ex YU1FD) HSC 1371.

CW Weekend Erbenhausen 3 to 5 April 2020
Regrettably, the planned informal HSC get-together at this year's CW Weekend at Erbenhausen had to be cancelled due to the latest developments surrounding the proliferation of the Corona virus. We have received word that the German Telegraphy Championships (DTP) to be held at Erbenhausen was cancelled as well. Also, the AGCW-DL has cancelled their activities of CW Weekend.

We have the HSC rhombus available as a transparent, high resoltion picture, see HSC Logos. You may use these icons for QSL cards etc.
